Software FAQs

Where is my data held and how secure it it?
- All data is held on remote servers which benefit from around the clock physical and online protection. Your data is backed up in real time which means that there will never be any possibility of ‘lost data’.
Can ICM manage non RTA claims?
- Yes, ICM can record and manage non RTA claims such as Public Liability and Employers Liability Claims. If you’re in any doubt as to whether ICM will suit your business needs, please get in contact.
How can ICM give away this kind of powerful software for free?
- Our software isn’t cheap. In fact, it’s probably the most expensive product of its type available on the market today. However, due to the unique way our software is funded, we are able to give our software away for free to companies that meet some basic requirements. We charge the service providers (solicitors, credit hire companies etc…) who receive business via the system, which means our clients don’t have to pay for their claims management IT.
Tell me about your service providers and how they work within the system
- We have carefully selected business partners in all areas of claims management from PI solicitors, to car hire companies, ATE Insurers etc, and negotiated high commission levels for our clients. Inside ICM’s claims management system is an easy to use ‘Instruct a service provider’ option which allows the user to quickly send and track new claim instructions, communicate with and then invoice service providers for referral fees, all in the same online space.
Can I use my existing service providers?
- Yes, as long as your existing service provider meets our service level standards and is happy to agree to our terms, we would be happy to add them as a service provider. As a service provider, they will also gain more work from other users of ICM.
Tell me more about ICM’s built in CRM Marketing product.
- ICM has a built in customer relationship management tool which will record and track your sales efforts with new prospects and existing clients. You can make notes regarding phone calls, meetings etc…and then set reminders to follow up with that contact. In short, our CRM system will help to keep you in touch with your existing clients, whilst helping you to grow your business.
Will ICM link with existing accounting packages like Sage?
- ICM is compatable with other software applications. If you have a software application that you would like to interface with ICM, please contract us to discuss in greater details to ensure that we can meet your requirements.
- What help and support is available from ICM?
  - You can access help in a number of different ways. There is a built in help function within the system itself but users can also call or email for help and support. Alternatively, your ICM relationship manager will always be happy to visit your office and sit next to you to help you with whatever issue you may have.
- Is there any training available to help me use the system?
  - Yes there is. Once you go live with ICM, you’ll be assigned a local relationship manager who’s job it is to help you get the most out of your claims system. He or she will carry out in house training for all your employees at a time that suits you. We also offer regular one day training sessions at a purpose built training facility in the Northwest UK, easily accessible from all major road links. All training is free to users of ICM.
- How easy is it stop using ICM software?
  - Very easy. Just tell us when you would like to stop using the system and we will arrange for all your data to be returned to you as quickly as we can.

Accident Management FAQs

How does ICM’s Accident Management service work in practice?
- As a client, you would complete the new claim instruction using our online ICM Software. Following an initial welcome phone call to the client, an intelligent claims agent will then arrange whatever services are necessary to suit the client’s individual needs, and keep you as the referral source up to date with developments as they happen. We offer a complete range of claims management services including vehicle recovery, same day like for like replacement vehicles, independent engineer’s reports and vehicle repairs. We also work with service providers who specialise in Personal injury litigation and uninsured loss recovery.
  
  In summary, you send us the new instruction and we take care of everything else, providing a superb service to the client, and saving you lots of time and money.
Does the client have to pay for anything at any point in the claim?
- No, the client will never be asked to pay for any of the services we arrange for them. If the claim is found to be fraudulent, the client will obviously become liable for all costs for all services provided.
How can ICM offer this service for free?
- All charges for services provided are recovered directly from the negligent third party’s insurance policy which means that our client’s don’t pay for our service.
